La Nouba Celebrates 15 Years!

So I've been in Florida my entire life, and its amazing.... and it makes me feel a bit old, but La Nouba turns 15 this year! Not only is this a milestone in age for La Nouba but this September they just celebrated their 7,000th show.  I've been collecting La Nouba articles and things since I was little and today I think I will share a few of the items with you:

When I was thirteen I got a backstage tour from the La Nouba publicist (it was a bar mitzvah present). In fact, if anyone can track down to what day it was, it was Vasily Dementchoukov's last day at cirque. I even got to try on the cake hat. At the end she gave me this poster which they used to hang on the tent. Its huge.

 Over the years I have collected tons of flyers news paper articles and ads. Most of them coming out of the Orlando Sentinel everything from Rokardy joining La Nouba to Natasha Hallet's accident at La Nouba to mail-in contests.

In the pile of collectables is this old flyer they gave out when La Nouba wasn't even built yet...

La Nouba Gala Premiere hat, 'nuff said. This is a piece of La Nouba history.

I also have an autographed program from the cast as well as many other small nic-nacs. I hope La Nouba sticks around for a while. Here are a few articles celebrating 15 years of La Nouba:
